Updated BIOS from F8 to recently posted F9:
- Extracted F9 DSDT (using DSDTSE), identical to F8 extract- no changes
- With F9, wakeup from sleep produces frozen (USB) keyboard and BT mouse, unplugging keyboard/ USB cable does not 'unfreeze'. Rebooting is the only way to solve the issue. [F8 does not have a problem, keyboard and BT mouse reconnect after short delay]
- Went back to F8, wakeup from sleep works again.
Any thoughts on how to fix F9 BIOS?

The New Bios seems to be F11. I also use the F8 Bios on the GA-Z68X-UD3-B3.

Hi,

I have the exactly same configuration.

Do you have your ATI 5770 fully working with all the DVI, HDMI and DP ports.

I have a Sapphire Flex 5770 and only DVI-I is working

DVI-I: ok
DVI-D: not working
HADMI: not working
DP: not tested

Do you have any idea?

Thanks

I use Help from InsanelyMac http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index. ... pic=231768

I use AtiConfig=Vervet please read the Topic it´s helpful

I red the post but my computer knowledge leave me a little lost.

What Should I Do? How to use the code to have my 5770 fully working?

Thanks

Hi

I use this in my org.chameleon.Boot.plist found in /Extra/
or if you use an older chameleon Installer com.apple.Boot.plist found in /Extra/

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
<plist version="1.0">
<dict>
<key>GenerateCStates</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>GeneratePStates</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>Kernel</key>
<string>mach_kernel</string>
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string></string>
<key>AtiConfig</key>
<string>Vervet</string>
</dict>
</plist>

Good Luck

couple things you could try

atiports=3 or graphicsenabler=no

my friends 5770 with ge=no allowed him to use hdmi/dvi, whereas with ge=yes he could only use 1 dvi output
