i have problems with audio, which a DSDT for the board will fix

I'm not having any audio problems with the Max board (bios 706). Loaded ALC8xxxHDA.kext (889) and AppleHDA.kext in Multibeast during the install.
The only issue I have is getting the box into sleep mode, but I imagine there's a fix for that.

I to have this board and and am only having problems getting audio working. I am currently running BIOS ver 0902 and used unibeast to install 10.7.x which went on without problems I can get ethernet & graphics working no problem also it's just audio.
Heard lots about DSDT how can I extract/create/edit my own?

To all with an Asus integrated audio chip : be aware of the names Asus gives to the onboard integrated audio (SupremeFx XFi I or II). You have to go and read the description on Asus' site to be sure of which chip it is. I own a Rampage III Gene with SupremFX XFI II audio named as for the Maximus IV Gene-Z but IT IS NOT THE SAME CHIP ! (VIA VT2020 vs Realtek, so you would need ALCxxxx codecs).
A good way to know which drivers you need is to go to the download section of your product and find any info about the drivers (read me.txt ...).
