Hi, I searched the Z68X-UD4-B3 F5 DSDT in the Database but there are only F6 and F7, does anybody can share it? I don't want to update the BIOS.

Thanks

Why don't u want to update the bios?

I'm a newbie and I don't know how, but i've installed snow leopard with easybeast and I didn't have any problem, only with the graphic card, a GTS 450, so I think I'll buy another graphic card. Is there much difference between what I have done vs updating the BIOS and use UserDSDT?

i would also love to know how to flash the bios without windows. just got my board, installed 10.6.8 but multi beast keeps saying install failed, there was one step i missed so i am redoing it to see if it solves the issue. I also used update helper.

You can update your Bios to F7 (or last F8) doing this:

1. download the Bios file from the GigaByte website.
2. put the file into a usb pendrive (fat32 format maybe)
2. reboot and go into bios with "del" key like usual.
3. press the key to enter to QFlash, i think its F8.
4. browse to the file and select it, and follow the instructions.
5. take care to do not unplug the power of the computer during the bios update process. (2 minutes)

My above messages says how to update bios version just in the bios screen.
(before log into MacOS or Windows)
