Has anyone been able to successfully use the DSDT that is in the database for the GA-P55A-UD4P with Lion?

Every time I add it, it stops booting at: [ PCI configuration being ]

Thanks in advanced.
Brad

Are you stating that you installed Lion, now can't start up?

Is this a fresh install or is it installed over Snow Leopard?

Can you stop at the Chameleon screen and type -x -v PCIRootUID=1 before selecting the Lion partition?

That is correct, with the DSDT in place, I can not boot Lion. However, if I remove the DSDT, I can boot into Lion.

This is an upgrade from Snow Leopard and I have tested the PCIRoot string to no availability.

Thanks
Brad

Well, does everything work without the DSDT? You have audio, Internet and full video? If so, be happy, perhaps you don't need a DSDT.

When I upgraded to Lion, I just used my existing DSDT and Extra/Extensions and when I installed it worked aside from having to re-install AppleHDARollback and refresh the DHCP address.

Did your original Snow Leopard installation have a DSDT or did you run EasyBeast? If the latter, you might need to delete some of the kexts that EasyBeast puts in Extra/Extensions as they may be causing some issue with the hardware description in the DSDT....if is best to only run EITHER UserDSDT OR EasyBeast on a given installation....

I was able to install lion with my ud4p rev 1. However, I wasn't able to use the f14 dsdt from the database. I had to revert to f13 or lower but then I had issues with graphics artifacts on my desktop when using either my 9800 GTX+ or PC 5770.

When I boot from this DSDT I get past the [ PCI Configuration Begin ] but my graphics and audio aren't working properly.

How is this DSDT different from the F14 one in the database?

Edit: 8-31-11
Nevermind. I found the issue. The DSDT posted above wasn't set for my specific graphic card and the audio output setting was reset somehow. I modded the DSDT from the database to include the graphics info. from my system and it boots fine on 10.6.7 w/ graphics and audio working fine. I'm going to try updating to 10.7 tonight and see what happens. I made a backup first, of course.
