Gigabyte has released final version of the latest BIOS versions, F7 in the case of the P55-UD4P that I'm using. Not had a chance to test it yet. I realised that the beta version fixed some USB problems I was having with my card reader, so there seems to be additional fixes that aren't mentioned in the list of fixes.

Let us know when you have had a chance to test out the F7 fully. I am hesitant to update for fear that I will once again mess something up with my system.

Guess they put it up since I posted that! :)

If anyone's got new extract/edits for the new bioses, email me. I'm going to redo the UD2 one based on a fresh extract now that the bios is out of beta. Help me make the DSDT Database as current as possible, then we can know that the latest bios is the best one to be on for support. :D

Heya Tony...
This might be asking a lot, but is there any chance you could put bios versions of DSDT's in the name or even the link? I'm referring to sometime in the future as they get updated so it'd be a bit more convenient, not asking you to do this tonight or anything.

Been thinking that. Also was thinking that we may be able to extract DSDTs for the missing mobos based on bios downloads from the manufacturer's websites using a DSDT patcher- there are some Windows based ones. I know it'll be a beast to get them all done, but if we all work together as a team we can do it- and provide a great resource of DSDTs- even vanilla ones.

For now the ones up are mostly ok since they're all from Dec/Jan, but I can see with the bios upgrades, there will soon be issues if people are using mismatched bios/DSDT.

I have a lot of emails to go through in order to get all of the bios versions for the ones linked, but I think I can get most of them. Some people didn't submit that information, however. Maybe we can at least get the more common Gigabyte ones (UD2, UD4P) freshly edited first, and go from there. :)

Sure Tony, I just meant as we update in the future like F8 perhaps lol. The only reason I asked about this is because Gigabyte newer bios' generally show up in this thread http://forums.tweaktown.com/f69/gigabyt ... ios-28441/ way before they even hit http://www.gigabyte.tw.

On another note, I kinda wish I had gotten an Evga SLI or FTW, but didn't want to chance it hehe. Maybe I'll get one after I can see the DSDT or perhaps I'll upgrade to the P55A-UD7! XD

Edit: Err nvmnd on the UD7 a it has the NF200 as well as the dreadful Pex bridge chip. Yikes...

The UD7 is an interesting beast, it's targeting "high-end" gamers and overclockers.
However, please note that the PLX chip connects to the NF200 to boost the performance of the USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gbps controllers unlike Asus' implementation. Although IF you add three graphics cards, it'll switch over and go via the P55 chipset as then there's not enough spare bandwidth to go around. Still, I don't think it's a great solution for a hackingtosh build...
