My computer has erradic booting, and doesn't reboot on its own. It will initiate the reboot and then lock up on a black, unresponsive screen. Henceforth, when I try to set my DSDT is doesn't seem to save beyond the reboot. I still have no internal audio (ALC1150) or network (Intel GBe). Also I seem to be relying on the PCIRootUID=1 boot code, I have the fix selected in my MultiBeast but since it won't reboot it doesn't matter, I have to manually finish the restart and nothing is saved. This may be a contributing factor. Any ideas/suggestions?

Thank you in advance!

???? What do you mean by this? DSDT is not needed for 97 series boards.

Thank you for the reply!

Pardon my noobness, I did initially DSDT-free install but had no network still. So I tried DSDT but just for network and it all went haywire. After a full wipe and re-install, I am running DSDT free with everything working but my network. Any suggestions?

Run MultiBeast, select drivers->network->intel and install the intel drivers. Repair permissions and rebuild your boot cache. (can be done with DPCIManager or open a terminal and type the commands in.
