"CPU 7 has no PET assigned" with DSDT.aml for GA-P55-UD4

Hi Guys,

I run a Hackintosh on a GA-P55-UD4 with BIOS Version F5

Now I tried the DSDT.aml from Tonys Database. As described, I removed NullCPUPowerManagement.kext and IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector and check all checkboxes in System Preferences/Energy Saver (3 chekboxes) to use sleep.

After reboot I get my Desktop with a kernel panic like this one:

panic (cpu 0 caller 0xff........): "CPU 7 has no HPET assigned to it"@Source ...........


It will runs with NullCPUPowerManagement.kext, but no sleep.

I boot the Hackintosh with Chameleon 2 RC4 with the EXTRA Directory on the EFI Partition

Any Ideas what to do?

For Chameleon RC4, you'll need to put the DSDT.aml in /Extra. It won't scan the / root of your install by default. Your DSDT is most likely not being recognized.
