Hi

I have been reading the forums for 3-4 days now trying things, trying to understand things... But i just can't make my own DSDT file for my motherboard right and i can't find one for it anywhere either.

These are my specs:

Intel i3 2100 @ 3.1GHz
ASUS P8H67-M LX lga1155
PowerColor Radeon HD 6850
Sound: ALC887 (not working, haven't tried much)
LAN: RTL8112L (working)
I have Clover for bootloader, had Chimera before.

So i tried booting with DSDT=NONE to create a stock DSDT with MaciASL but retrieving the system DSDT and trying to compile it always yields errors. I added some repositories for patches but i am not sure exactly which patch i should use.

I am running Mavericks 10.9.5, i had to remove AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext to avoid a kernel panic, i read some stuff about patching my bios and editing UEFI or DSDT...

First thing i should do i guess is to make myself a good error free DSDT and edit it with the needed patches?

Any help greatly appreciated! I'm getting confused now!

Well i found a way to make the HDMI audio work after all!

I did a fresh install of Yosemite and before rebooting after installing some stuff with Multibeast, i ran MaciASL. I thought that booting from USB installation there should not be any DSDT loaded. MaciASL reported 16 errors all about the same line:

Name (_PLD, Buffer (0x10)

I read somewhere that i need to change all that with:

Name (_PLD, Package (0x10)

Then no more errors even though i'm not sure if my changes are bad or not!

I then applied Toledo's patch for AMI BIOS HD3000 AMD NVIDIA HDMI A3 and installed this DSDT with Multibeast rebooted (i am skipping many other booting problem i encountered not related to this topic...) and there it was HDMI audio working!

Now, anybody knows what i should do/what patches i should apply to have power management working properly? I now have AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement kext removed from the Extensions folder so i guess NullCPU* is in charge now...

Sorry to hijack your thread but how did u get your LAN working? I am running the same motherboard as you are.
Also what did you download to get the HDMI audio and video working?

Thanks
