Dsdt needed? Asrock z97 extreme6

Hey All,

First time builder and just bought all my hardware. I tried to do a Hackintosh a couple years back on a laptop which failed terribly and I am back for more. I am looking for the first steps to getting this done. Every post I have seen is for older versions of my MOBO and Processor. Any thoughts?

Did you have any luck with this MB? Please provide details?

MB worked great and I was able to get everything up and running. (All Mac Apps, App Store, Both Network port on the motherboard, WiFi, etc... ) I just had to do a custom MB and select the components that corresponded with my equipment. The one issue I have is when the computer "Sleeps) I am not able to get a signal back to my monitor and frequently had to restart. I turned off having the computer sleep and everything is working great.

I have the Same motherboard and processor, but cannot get the lan to work. I used Multi Beast and tried intel and realtek drivers built into multi beast to no avail. I'm using on board video with a dual monitor setup. On loading the os the video looks ok when OSX boots my main monitor 2560 x 1440 resolution only has an image on the left 2/3 of the screen the rest is black. When the computer goes to sleep and I awaken it, the video fixes it self and looks perfect. Any suggestion on how to you got your setup to work would be extremely helpful.

Would you be able to share your MultiBeast settings? Thx, Rick

I am having difficulties getting everything to work. Would you share details on how you got it all to work, Please.

i have the same MB but i can't get run mi mackintosh could you share your DSDT

Just installed; you need legacy boot mode instead of uefi boot mode.
that did the trick for me
