Hello, this is my second post on the forums but about a similar issue. I have been running Windows on my PC since last January and it has always run great. Recently I have been trying to get Mavericks 10.9.2 on my PC on a separate HDD. I have been able to get it to boot but only in safe mode and without using my GPU (and using Intel integrated graphics instead). So I have been trying everything I can to get it boot without safe boot and with my GPU. I was just thinking maybe it is that I need to install a DSDT on my mobo (I don't have a custom on installed) and maybe that would help. So my question is, of I install the DSDT for my mobo that is in the downloads on this website will it still work with Windows? Windows is my priority so if it doesn't then never mind. Also, if this isn't my issue can someone please tell me? Thanks in advance!

PS: If I am doing something dumb or wrong then I am sorry, I am a Hackintosh noob.

My Build:
GPU: EVGA GTX 780 TI
CPU: i7-3770k
Mobo: Asus Maximus IV Gene Z
I think that's all the important stuff but if you need something else just let me know.

Thank you I will check out that section. I do know that I don't need a DSDT to run Windows but my question is if I install the DSDT will Windows have an issue? Please help! Thanks!

When you have each OS on a separate drive or partition the DSDT only gets installed
on OS X and not windows. It has no effect at all upon the Windows install. It also has
no effect on the motherboard's bios or UEFI.

Okay thanks but I think I have a new problem. My computer will boot with the GTX 780 TI and the about my mac section says it is using that. So progress has been made and I don't think the DSDT matters. My new issue is that I can not get my computer to boot unless I use safe boot. It is very annoying and I can't figure out how to fix it. Also, I don't think CUDA is working. I have the drivers installed but when I open CUDA-Z it says that it can't find any CUDA devices. Is this because of safe boot? Please help me!
