DSDT for Z87X-UD5H, can't get a straight answer. Help?

Okay, I've searched the forums a fair bit and I've seen quite a lot of posts about the Gigabyte Z87X-UD5H not having a DSDT in the tonymacx86 database.

So, my question is,

What do I do? I've seen stuff been posted about people's lan ports not working or USB ports not working, I'm installing Mavericks as I type this and all my USB ports work so far. Not sure about LAN port, I'll edit this post to reassure after I finish the install.

So I've seen people say you can make your own DSDT, but I'm clueless as to where to begin..

Help would be ultimately appreciated.

I'm in the exact situation with you on this one. New to all this also and installing Mavericks 10.9.2 also.

I have this MB and I didn't need a DSDT to get it working. I had a hell of a time with getting audio to work properly. Finally jumped through some crazy hoops and found a method that works for me. Others seem not to have had such big issues with the sound on this MB. For LAN, the first port works. For the second to work you need to install the intel driver from multibeast.

I used Ryans guide as a basis.
