Will My Spec Work?

Hi guys,

New to the forum, so firstly, hello!

Secondly, Id really appreciate some more experienced users help on just a quick question.

Built my first gaming PC a few months ago, its fantastic. I still have my macbook, but thought itd be quite nice to put OSX on the desktop as well, just to have a more powerful machine to run El Capitan when im not on the move.

From what Ive ascertained, the motherboard is the hardest part to get righht on a hackintosh build. If I put my spec below, would someone tell me whether or not it will work?

CPU = Intel Core i5 4590 s1150 Ret
GPU = NVidia GTX 780 Herculez 3GB
MOBO = MSI B85M-G43 MOBO
RAM = 8GB(2 x 4GB) Corsair
HDD = 1TB SGATE ST1000DM003 SATA3
Power Supply = 600W EVGA 80PLUS White ATX PSU

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes. Use the search function and you will find more then a thousand post concerning this motherboard.

Read up on dual booting... I suggest that you invest in at least one SSD for OS X (a second one for Windows would be better).

Apologies for my poor googl-fu, searching on MSI boards came up with many models but not mine that I could see and recognise. Great to know that it works.
