Hello everybody. Been lurking here for a while & this is my first post. I would appreciate any advice that I could get! :D

Getting ready to upgrade my current Hack, but I would like to stay with Mountain Lion because, according to Avid, it is the only osx that can have Protools 10 & 11 co-installed. The main pieces are the Gigabyte X99-UD4 motherboard, 5820k cpu, Gskillz DD4 memory (16gb) & my current GeForce gt640 graphics card.

So basically, is Mountain Lion compatible with the X99 platform?? :roll2: I've been doing some reading, but I have yet not any info on this....

Thanks!

You could build an X79 system to install ML on successfully. I've never seen anyone running it
on an X99 system as there is no support for the X99 chipset in ML. Take a look at some of the
X79 Asus system user builds and find one that would meet your requirements. If you can go
with Yosemite then the X99 system will work quite well.
