Hi all, Generated this build using the Mac Pro Hakintosh with parts switched out.

Motherboard: Gigabye Z97X SOC
CPU: Intel i5 4690k
CPU: Asus Nvidia GTX GeForce 750 Ti (I believe that I would have to wait for a bios update till this was compatible with Mac, this is more for windows as I aim to have both operating systems working via clover)
Ram: 8GB Crucial DDR3
TP Link TL-WN4800 900N wiress PCI card (as far as I'm aware I can put this into a PCI slot (16 pin?) and still work correctly?)
Memory: 500 gb Mac/ 2tb windows/ 240gb Kingston V300 SSDNow (for boot up)
Case: Powermac G5 (near mint-will be modded of course!)

I would also like some advice on a PSU as I'm not too sure which one I would need.

Many thanks,

Hazzer.

Quite the opposite with the HDD.
Seagates reputation is worse then WDs.

Brilliant, thanks for letting me know! Better get myself a WD HDD then!

Does the difference grapes is cards matter? I'm pretty sure I've heard the the Asus does not work well with Mac, not too sure on that tho. Could you recommend the Evga over the Asus?

I'm also not too sure what the required voltage are for these, I've got a working G5 PSU at 450 Watts which I may be able to use, if not I've got a PSU from my current PC that I don't mind using... Would you recommend using the G5 PSU or has it got the potential to blow my ATX and CPU's?

EVGA typically sticks with reference designs so they tend to be more compatible. I've also had luck with MSI and Sapphire cards.

Your G5 power supply won't work without some serious rewiring. Go with a quality brand like Corsair, Silverstone, Antec, Thermaltake. Most 750Ti cards are going to recommend a 400W power supply minimum. Check the manufacturer specs of your card to find the wattage recommendation.

Thanks also Abe that helps. Using a Wattage calualator Ive found that I dont need much than 290-307 Watts so will consider investing in a 450-500 W PSU, which should give an optimum amount of usage.

In addition, the Motherboard which seems to be a bit of a beast for overclocking; this should be able to handel gaming at 1080pp relatively ok? Or is there anouther Gigabyte Gaming board that you would recommend that would do a better job? Looking at the build guide, this is most expensive motherboard suggested with a whopping £150ish reduction on Amazon atm. I understand that price does not always negotiate what is good and bad but is a good indication. Oh and yea its got buttons on the motherboard to launch straight into Bios/ fan controllers!
