Hi, I have bought GA-Z87N-WIFI board, I am running short of budget so for the time being I want to build with G3220 3.0GHz LGA 1150 Boxed Processor. Will this work with Maverik. I will be using DDR-3, 4gb 1600 ram.

Plz advice.

Well, if you buy a graphics card, it will work.
 
Hahaha Mate94, thanks for the suggestion. Well money matters my freind. I actually want to buy i7 but at this point of time its difficult. Now the search begins with cheap graphix card that can run ML. Any suggestioin.
 
Then it makes sense. Ermm... why don't you use it from now on as a Windows PC? Because, if you get an i7 later, you eventually won't need any graphics card since the integrated HD4600 will be there.
 
Its not about using windows or requirement for a computer. Its working with your hand setting up a computer. Getting your hands dirty, playing with software, troubleshooting...........bla bla bla...........its all part of learning and fun............:)

I have macbook pro but trying learn to make a hackintosh.

This is one of the better low budget choices for a card. Will give you an equivalent
to about HD3000 graphics for forty bucks. Has 1GB of video memory. Use
the GraphicsEnabler=No boot flag for it to work.

have you successfully installed ML/Mavericks on g3220?
 
I have a H87M-HD3 with a Pentium G3220 and an EVGA GT 210. I couldn't get Mavericks installed but I have a very stable Mountain Lion install. I also wrote a guide on how to install it onto a PC with a G3220.
