Enthoo EVOLV

This is the enclosure that many people would have hoped for with the new Mac Pro redesign.
Side panels are all 1/8" aluminum. Easy to work in, easy to swap out drives and graphics cards.
Both of the side panels are on hinges. They open incredibly easy and you don't have to remove
them at all. Finally somebody got the memo that this is the way to make a case. I hope that
Fractal Design is reading this thread.

The white version is just asking for a Customac Pro build inside. Hope you've got your pennies
saved up because it ain't cheap. It's not cheaply built either. So I would call this the High End,
Premium, Deal of the Day. Nothing close to what a Case Labs case would do to your build budget.
Also comes in either black or gray.

That's a great case. They have a grey one as well. Trying to find a picture of one with an optical drive installed - nothing on their website.

I think they, like Apple believe the optical drive is dead. Gone the way of the Floppy disk drive.
So you'd probably just have to use and external drive.

I was wrong on this. They have just placed it in the back instead of the front.
That's something I've never seen before.

Here's a good online review of the whole case. http://youtu.be/i_Mso3V5SAw?t=40s

Yeah, was wondering what that slot in the back was... odd!

I've been going back and forth on what case I'll be using for my next Hack build, but I think I've finally decided on the Enthoo EVOLV.

I'll be using a Swiftech H240X AIO in it. Now all I have to do Is find a full-time job . . .

PS: The attention to detail is phenomenal! I especially like how they off-set the top-mount fan/radiator locations to not interfere with motherboard components - with slots instead of screw holes. One thing I LOVE in cases is flexibility.

I used this case and I love it.

@lestliness congrats on that beautiful looking build. Is that the Gray or Black version? That heatsink is almost as wide as your motherboard, what amount of overclocking of the 4790K are doing with that ?

Thanks TRS96! Well I have to admit it was your original post turned me on to this bad boy.

So this is the Grey case and I haven't played with over clocking yet but the main reason I bought it was the fact that I do very long renders sometimes and I just didn't want to risk it. Plus it looks cool!

Here's my build.

I'm still playing with Clover and I would like to go full DSDT but it's such a confusing topic and I'm totally stuck.
