I am trying to get a Sata Controller with Sil 3114 Chipset to run under Yosemite.
I found something about kext editing related to a kext named AppleVIAATA.kext .
But this kext doesn't seem to be part of OS X any longer, i think apple replaced it but i am not sure wich kext no is responsible for my Controller.
In DCPI Manager my controller shows up and i can see vendor and device id and so on. Is there a solution to inject the controller river/kext via clover?
Or isn't it easy possible to get the Sil 3114 working with yosemite?
