Keep the Questions Coming!!

Don't the Kepler GPUs run slowly on OS X ? As in due to GraphicsEnabler=No ?

No they're are not supposed to from what I read

In fact, they're almost plug and play since mountain lion supports them completely (to my knowledge)

On youtube one user said he plugged a 670 into his Mac Pro and it worked fine

So no, there shouldn't be any major problems when running a 600 series card in mountain lion (in lion it's trickier)

but they don't run at full performance right ? As in for FCP X, Steam Mac Games, etc ?

Yes they do

The problems you're talking about relate to enabling a 600 series card on OS X Lion (10.7.4)

OS X Mountain Lion fixes those errors and the graphicsenabler=no since it's fully supported by OS X now

OT: Please think about modifying the above links to route through the Tonymac86 Newegg affiliate account.

Thanx

So is it worth poneying up €150 extra for the 660Ti vs the 560 Ti ? And does the MultiBeast OpenCL enabler work with the 660Ti ? (Only mentions the 670, 680 & 690)

No problem, but doesn't it link itself automatically? or does changing it from the simple layout to standard mean you have to put in the code itself?

Anyway, I'll check the links to make sure they're routed correctly.

Thanks

Yes it is. The 660 Ti is double the performance in some cases and more than double in others. It is definitely be worth saving up the money
