Gigabyte vs Evga motherboard

I am trying to decide between buying the

Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD7 TH LGA 1150 Z97 Dual Thunderbolt 2 ATX Motherboard

for a hackintosh build.
I've seen lots of posts for the gigabyte motherboard with compatibility, but besides graphics cards I have not seen people mentioning Evga for motherboards. I like how the EVGA motherboard has 2 ethernet slots.

You could use the Z97X-UD5H to get two ethernet ports. That is also
fully compatible. The EVGA will not have a good guide to follow for an
install of OS X.
