I was wondering if the latest Chimera will supports the (soon to be released) Broadwell i7-5775C? It has Iris Pro 6200 (Chimera supports 5300, 5500, 6600 it says).

I wanted to build a new Hackintosh with this processor and be able to take advantage of the better graphics.

Following.

My interest is for the Iris Pro 6200, but with the i5 5675C.

Same here. Is the Iris Pro 6200 even supported under OS X?

Any update on this? I just built a system with the i7 5775C CPU and would like to know if the Iris Pro 6200 is supported.

Have you tried running OS X on your system yet?

I'm also looking into building a system with a Broadwell CPU. I'm going for a mini-ITX system using Asus H97I-PLUS as motherboard with either i5-5675C or i7-5775C to get Iris Pro 6200. But I don't want to proceed until it's verified that Iris Pro 6200 works without any issues.

Clover supports Iris Pro 6200.

Full Disclosure:

Does this mean it is supported or not supported? Sorry but I am a newbie and just starting to assemble parts so I am not aware of technicalities yet but wanted to confirm before purchasing a CPU with Iris Pro 6200.

Also, I hear that latest version of El Capitan shows support for Iris Pro 6200?

Tried both. Only get 14MB of VRAM in both cases (64MB set in Bios). Screen is laggy and no transparency on dock. Using Displayport. Is there a better solution?

Also, is there a way of switching between a dGPU and iGPU inside OS-X?

thanks
