Hi, guys.
Following "Buyer's Guide", I decided to buy GA-H97N WIFI MB. All was good until I met many posts about Mavericks install issues. And I need Mavericks for now (until my needed programs update for supporting Yosemite). Of course, I can buy H87N (and, seems like, I will:roll2:).
So, the question:
1. Why it's only 9 series recommended in Guide, when it's so hard to get Mavericks working?
2. Does 8 series has any big problem getting working Mavericks/Yosemite?
3. Maybe I misunderstood something?

Recommendations in the Buyer's Guide are for latest hardware/latest version OS X.
If you want to run older versions of OS X, go back and look at the Buyer's Guides for when that version was the latest version.
Snow Leopard, look at Buyer's Guides in 2010/2011
Lion, look at Buyer's Guides in 2011/2012
Mountain Lion, look at Buyer's Guides in 2012/2013
Mavericks, look at Buyer's Guides in 2013/2014
Yosemite, look at Buyer's Guides in 2014/2015

Just put Buyer's Guide in the search box.
