My gigabyte gigabyte H61 seems to have died (computer clicks on and then off). Tried the PSU, took out my GT640, and different RAM and same issue. It is either the CPU or mobo. I am leaning towards the mobo.
Therefore, gigabyte is taking too long to issue a warranty exchange and therefore I figured I should see if there is a Haswell board out there that people think will work flawlessly with my i5 2500 sandy. I heard that Ivy didn't play nice. This is a basic HTPC and therefore doesn't need anything special with the exception to run smoothly. Would like to take advantage of better power usage of Haswell and for a simply board less than $100 figured it might make sense.
Has anyone had great success with a haswell mobo and sandy CPU? If so please let me know. Thanks
