Hi Guys,

I've been looking at parts for a while and I think i've settled. Before I pull the trigger, I thought it better to get my build checked by people who know better. Do you see any problems / have suggestions for my build?

My goals for this are:
- Small, quiet, silent, sexy
- photo editing, some video editing
- no need for overclocking hence the xeon
- somewhat future proof

Planned parts list:
Mobo - Gigabyte H87N Wifi wifi part wont work, but the non-wifi version isn't amazon prime eligible :D

CPU - Intel Xeon E3-1230V Haswell 3.3Ghz

CPU Cooling - Corsair Hydro H60

GPU - EVGA GTX750Ti 2gb EVGA GT 740 4gb

Storage - 2x Crucial MX100 512GB ssd

Memory - 16gb Corsair Vengence kit

Wifi - Rosewill a/b/c/n Wifi Adapter

Case - Rosewill Legacy U3 micro ATX mini tower

Case Fan - Noctua 140mm Quiet Fan (redundant)

Power - Silverstone 450w 80+ gold modular psu

Monitor: Asus VS24AH-P LED

My concerns are:
- Everything gonna fit?
- still not sure about the difference in performance between gtx640/750/760 etc. I know I don't need a 780ti or anything, but the 6 and 7 series confuse me, some saying the 640 is better than 750.

I'm happy for any advice in part suggestions. Any ways to make this rig quieter/cooler without sacrificing much performance are welcome.
I did the least amount of homework on the PSU and the GPU. There are just way too many options in that regard...

Thanks for your help!

The 750 series is not yet supported by Mavericks. See the tonymacx86 Buyer's Guide, Graphics Cards, for recommended (supported) graphics cards.

You could also use the H87N's on-board graphics until the 750 series is supported by Apple. (I, too, am anxiously awaiting the 750 Ti's support.)

Ah, that was an oversight on my part.
So I've changed the gpu to a GeForce GT 740 4gb EVGA model
and nixed the Noctua case fan since it would be redundant with the H60 water cooler.

I should be good to go now... I'll be pulling the trigger tonight or tomorrow.
