what about others?

I bought a Panda one:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00762YNMG

It worked well, used third-party software to work but still worked.

That's something to keep in mind, any USB dongle is going to have it's own software. I don't think any of them work 'natively'.

Hi,

I read this thread when looking for a WIFI adapter and I was concerned about reports of people having issues with the dongles mentioned.

I just wanted to share my experience with the NewerTech USB2.0 WIFI dongle. Although it's not a NANO dongle, it's still pretty small and comes with a neat extender cable / dock which can be used to improve placement for desktops.

Oh, and it's *MADE FOR MACS* by a Mac-centric company, which I thought would be beneficial as far as compatibility.

I'm using it with my Lenovo Thinkpad T520 hackintosh.

Here's the device I'm talking about:

I think I paid $15 with shipping total.

Please note, the drivers are updated. Just use the generic RALINK drivers for Mavericks and ML here:

http://www.mediatek.com/en/downloads/?sort=os

Scroll to the place where it says "USB (RT270/ RT2770/ RT3X7X/ RT537X/ RT5572)"

Hope this helps someone out!!
