Hi All,

I just changed my motherboard from BIOS to UEFI. The board is a Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3 and this is what I did. I did have a working Yosemite installation prior to doing this.

Deleted DSDT file from the extra folder
Flashed new UEFI onto board
Selected Optimized Defaults and boot

When I boot, the Yosemite loading screen appears and the progress bar moves about 1/3 of the way through and then throw the little Error symbol (the O with the line through it).

I tried booting from my Unibeast USB and it stops at the same place.

What can I try to get this working? I did installed Multibeast on Yosemite with DSDT on my original upgrade from Mavericks - is there anything else in that Extras folder I need to delete?

Any thing else?

Thanks!

Steve

Yosemite Boot Issues after UEFI Change [SOLVED]

Found the issue! Missed something in the UEFI configuration! Didn't set the SATA Mode Selection to AHCI!
