Confession time...

I am something of a long time lurker (years in fact) ... and have only of late decided to take the ultimate plunge : aka : converting a PC Desktop into a usable Mac OS X supporting machine.

In daily life : I use Windows (as most people do) along with other boxes that include Unix & Linux systems.

On a personal note : I recently retired my Mac Mini 1.5GHz PPC : (Tiger - 10.4.11) as it was beginning to struggle with anything more than the basics.

So I thought to myself .... now is the time to join your illustrious crew..

That is if you will have me come aboard...

I have a feeling that many people are on holidays in Europe & America etc.. So : it will probably be a bit quiet around here for a while. I think I will take my time to have a look around the forum and familiarize myself with neighbourhood.

I like to take my time over things...
