Fun little tease to OS X at today's Apple Event. During the presentation, Craig Federighi was demonstrating the new iPhone '3D Touch' features and brought up the following email from Phil Schiller.

Guys,

El Capitan is looking great and the feedback from the beta has been fantastic!

I say we get it out to customers ASAP!

The El Capitan ship date is September 30.

Since the event this afternoon, the OS X El Capitan GM 'Golden Master' Candidate has been released to Developers, with the Public Beta GM soon to follow.

nice one... so its time to buy new hardware. with my p5ql pro i cant win an flower anymore.
my choise will be the asus h97m-plus (around 100€ my price range).
will it run with el capitan or any suggestions for an other mainboard ?
as an cpu i think the 3,5ghz core i5 (forget the number... 4690?)

I just finished a full backup and purchased two new 960GB SSDs... ready and willing...and waiting for El Cap. (El Capitan is beautiful in person also!)
