Has anyone had any trouble or experience using Clover as a bootloader and the latest Adobe Afx CC? I can not get my beloved Background renderer to work because of errors like this:
PROGRESS: ...After Effects successfully launchedINFO:Unable to allocate 0.000 MB of memory. Either decrease the memory requirements for the rendering of this frame, or install more RAM. (12803 / stream value cache). For more information, see www.adobe.com/go/learn_ae_mem
INFO:Unable to allocate 0.020 MB of memory. Either decrease the memory requirements for the rendering of this frame, or install more RAM. (12803 / list). For more information, see www.adobe.com/go/learn_ae_mem
aerender ERROR: No project provided and no project open.
aerender ERROR -609: AESend failed to send apple event at line 769

I have pulled out memory, tried resetting pram, tried resetting AFX default prefs numerous times and no go so far. It is having all kinds of render issues though. Renders are super slow and I can usually only get them to top out at about 11-20% of the CPU aswell.... which does not help.

OSX: 10.9.3
Afx: 13.2.0.49

System:
I7-4770K16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 2048 MB
GIGABYTE GA-Z87X-UD3H LGA 1150 ATX

OS X 10.9.3 (13D65)
Clover EFI v2 (r3142)
Clover Config 4.22.1

I haven't run into that issue, but I have been having some pretty serious problems with Nvidia drivers lately. With Nvidia drivers, Clover sometimes won't boot at all. Without them, After Effects and Premiere both crash upon opening. Not sure if anything is related to your issue.

I am curious why you would see a linkage to Clover? How an application interacts with the OS does not seem like a bootloader issue.

I would think the subject would be which version of the OS is best under your conditions.

Just a query.

Good modding,
neil
