Hi guys,

I followed the iMessage guide and running Yosemite on a GA-77N-WIFI and after injecting my mac address as my Rom and MLB + other numbers were created by Clover, my SmUUID is changing after every boot.

I put in my MAC address (no colons) and the Debug shows it like so (with a space), however there is no space in configurator under the Rom Box. Could that be an issue? (the numbers/letters all match though)
-->8C14:ROM: <XXXXXXXX XXXX>
ROM BOX CONFIG XXXXXXXXXXXX

I did a reinstall just to make sure it wasn't user up to this point. Anyone know what could be causing this? Is it because I put # in the SmUUID box and should've left it blank??

Any help is greatly appreciated :). After this my system is running perfect.

UPDATE: I removed the SmUUID that was created by Clover and left it blank. Now in iMessage-debug the same uuid comes up every time (verified over 5 restarts) and all other numbers match in configurator with debug. The only difference is that the SmUUID is blank in configurator. Is that ok or will that mean I'll get flagged?

Have the same issue...

All other values stay, can you log in to iMessage?

Check my post:

BTW, i also got the space in iMessage_Debug i just put it with the space in ROM, the weird thing is i can log in. After calling Apple with my CC, but it doesn't sync and i can't write to anyone. :S

i think it's either related to SM-UUID, or the Space in ROM :banghead:

I honestly haven't tried yet as I don't want to flag my iCloud account with numerous attempts. I'm actually waiting to get someone who knows more about this to verify if I'm good to go or not. :)

I have played around with the system all last night and I'm consistently getting all the same #'s over and over again (verified in configurator, debut, and system report (just to make sure). I just need someone smarter :) to clarify if the space in the rom is ok/normal and if it's ok to leave the SmUUID blank in my config/configurator (will that someone get flagged even though it's putting up the same UUID everytime).

I don't think you'll get flagged, but yea would be nice if someone could confirm. Although I've read on the forums that some people have called Apple like 3-4 times without any issues.

Not to scare anyone and what do I know but when I hear "no one has had any problems..." I think to myself "for now..." :) Better be safe :) lol.

++Plus if I get this all working then I will be able to use it any and every time I reformat. Maintain this # set for the life of the machine.

Haha yup, but it sounds to easy just to leave the SMUUID fields blank doesn't it?

Just to pick up on this thread again, I am having exactly the same issues. SmUUID keeps changing if I input a value in this field after reboot. If I leave SmUUID blank, after each reboot checking the iMessageDebug tool it stays the same.
Does anyone have ideas on how this can be resolved?
Thanks

Same issue here.
