Hi guys, Im soon close to getting Clover 100% working except this is giving me grey hairs left right and centre. I really need your help. Im getting desperate. My computer sleep/wakes great with through bluetooth keyboard IF left to sleep for a few short hours.
Anything longer than a few hours of sleep (like every night while I'm sleeping) the computer wakes itself then about a minute later goes back to sleep. The issue is when this happens, the next morning I can't activate/wake my computer with bluetooth and I have to switch off the computer and reboot (I have to turn off at PSU until BIOS has no power and then turn back on, if I just restart computer otherwise I do not have bluetooth control).

Ive found a common pattern emerging in my console which also says APPLE RTC (wake alarm) and specifically a note about bluetooth (please see attached console file).
Please tell me what to do, my sig is below (my bluetooth module is the latest Apple BCM94360. As its native it shouldn't be a issue.
Note: In energy saver I have 'wake for network access' UNCHECKED.

Just disable the usb 3 ports inside bios and you are good to go. Unless u need them. I think there were some extra kext out there to enable full functionality

Hi Wolfie81,

if you are losing USB after wake then hopefully you can fix this in the BIOS by disabling PLL Overvolt like i can do with my Gigabyte Z77 motherboard;

Check your cooling. If your CPU is overheating then it can cause your machine to wake up randomly.

in your Clover EFI config.plist , make sure that AppleRTC is set to True

Code:
<key>AppleRTC</key>
<true/>

Anything longer than a few hours of sleep (like every night while I'm sleeping) the computer wakes itself then about a minute later goes back to sleep.

@Wolfie81,

Have you tried the 'Disable sleep proxy client' in the Clover Installer ......

Screen Shot 2014-10-08 at 13.13.22.pngI have GA-Z77X-UD5H which was doing the same thing, this fixed it for me

Cheers
Jay

Thanks for the replies guys.

@Robbish I checked and RTC was already set to true so sadly no go. I very much doubt the computer is over heating after its 4am in the morning and its in sleep mode..PLL over volt was already disabled.

@ Jaymonkey, this has also been installed to no avail

@Lexxar, can you elaborate a bit more?

Ive also considered moving from the standard settings in BIOS and began playing with XCHI to different modes as well as EHCI to no avail.

Oh yeeeeeeaeaaaahhhhhh ! I finaly found the solution thanks to another user :

- deactivate auto-timezone in system Préférences/Time and Date
- update with the latest Fakesmc and put it into S/L/E (in my system with clover, no need to put it in the EFI/clover/kext

Don't know which one of this two actions (or both) is efficient but :
=>now the computer won't wake himself randomly in the middle of the night !!!!!!!!!!!!
