VERY Slow after BIOS splash to Boot Menu (Newest Clover)

So I've got this old built I'm workin' on .. my XXth already thanx to YOU GUYZ !! :) :)
and it uses OLD parts .. an Intel dg31pr with a Core 2 Duo .. 4GBs of RAM and an ATI HD 5450.

All is workin' FINE with clover .. (I patched the HD 5450 kexts with my product-id etc..)
Audio from MB 5.5.5 (Without DSDT) and the rest is taken care of by Clover.

Still didn't test Speed Step but that's not an issue I'm worried about ..

Thing is .. (I'm booting BIOS of course) ..

It takes a while !! (Unlike any of my other builds)
The moment I'm done with the INTEL splash screen ..
I get 15-16 seconds (ALWAYS) of a frozen curser on the upper left
corner till I hit the HD boot selection menu.

no I don't have Logging turned ON .. and I've even tried Text Only
to see perhaps it's a graphics issue ..

I'd appreciate ANY help on the matter.

I have been unable to get 2939 to work at all. No boot that I can tell - just goes to blank screen and no post to screen. Clover screen never shows.
 
I'm with 2916
on my Z87M-D3H it works FAST !! (UEFI)
but on an Intel dg31pr (Core 2 Duo)
it gives me a 15 sec halt then proceeds to the boot selection menu

strange !

OK .. Boot with your Clover USB Installer or any other method that'll let you reinstall (Update)

This is my Config.plist - I've removed all my patches that do not relate to your motherboard,
and also set it for TEXT only (bootmenu) so you'll be choosing your Drive boot from
on a TXT base interface .. don't expect the GUI ...

hopefully that'll get your system to boot so you could get your problems fixed.

I have two Optiplex 780's with HD5450 Graphics cards. Both of them have long delays between the Bios Splash to Clover Boot Menu. One has a 35 second delay, and the other has a 25 second delay.

Other OS X community members that have the same builds report that they have a 5 to 10 second delay. I have tried their clover configs, and still havehe same delays.

It really irritates me that I cannot figure out why.
