Problem Installing OSX with Clover.

First of all, to thank the creator of the tutorial, which is fabulous.

Today I have the hack that makes my profile with Chameleon as bootloader. As I wanted to try and see how it works clover, I decided to make a fresh install on another disk, obviously the results have not been as rewarding I want, I mean.

Mobo: GA-Z68X-UD7-B3 (Bios F10)
CPU: i7-2600K
Mem: 4 * 4GB (2133 Mhz)

I keep the manual up to the point when you have to reboot the computer and proceed with usb botear prepared for the occasion, well, that's where it hangs with "still waiting for root device".

Observing the screen flicker as it is the mistake me and puts this brand.

I get the error and I can not continue.

I must say that I followed the tutorial to the letter, but only watch, read and look, do not know where you can be the error.

This tutorial is indicating the fact, except file SSDT.aml not know how to generate it or where to download it.

20 Navigate to / EFI / CLOVER / default and replace with attached config.plist config.plist *
21 Navigate to /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.9/ and add FakeSMC.kext
22 Navigate to /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.9/ and add your ethernet kext
23 Navigate to /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.9/ and add NullCPUPowerManagement.kext
24 Navigate to / EFI / CLOVER / drivers64UEFI / remove and add VBoxHfs-64.efi HFSPlus.efi
25 (Optional) Navigate to / EFI / CLOVER / ACPI / patched / and add DSDT.aml and SSDT.aml

Note that the bios is not modified and that the DSDT.aml file is downloaded from this site and corresponds to the revision of the bios.

Someone who knows, would you please give me a little hand?

One thing more. Anybody knows if I can upgrade my bios to uefi bios??

Is your BIOS Legacy or UEFI? with a Z68 board could be either.

Did you create your USB as Legacy Mode or UEFI Mode? Makes a difference if you created UEFI and your BIOS is Legacy.

If you want to use UEFI Mode, suggest you update your BIOS to latest non-Beta version.

BTW - noticed you list Z68 in your post and have Z58 in your profile - you might want to correct the typographical error.

My motherboard has bios, no UEFI BIOS. This morning I was posting in forums about changing gigabyte bios to UEFI and told me that unfortunately no UEFI BIOS for her and that would have no.

The USB I have prepared with legacy mode but I can not pass the message I posted in my previous message.

OK, Legacy BIOS only. In section 2 of guide, step 17 to customize - make sure you use the Legacy Mode selections.
in steps 20-24 in each case the add xxxx.kext is a link to download it.
for step 25, use your current DSDT - SSDT not required unless you want to take the time to generate one for native power management.
Download the attached config.plist and replace the one in the /EFI/Clover folder with it.

This lunch was messing with configurator clover and realized that you download you config.plist, has practically nothing (not saying it does not work on other computers, not mine). Well after much much tinkering, I had to get to the options of kexts and say that the add and obviates the caches .... volverme when work was installing osx 10.9 with clover and all I need, patching the sound to work and proceed to the installation of clover in hd ....
