Users are reporting, and we have confirmed wake from sleep causing instability in Mountain Lion on NVIDIA GeForce Fermi based GT 430, GTS 450, GTX 550 Ti, GT 620, GT 630 Cards only. Above is a pic of what's happening upon wake and it seems to only affect these models that are using the GF108 or GF116 GPU. Because of the these issues we have now placed a * on the GTX 550 Ti in the CustoMac Buyer's Guide.

If we all share info, we'll solve this no doubt. Share any test results, post screengrabs, post IOReg, post system profiler info- anything that could help us solve this. Thanks!

Great to see you help!

it should say (GTS) not (GT), like for example GTS 450. anyway, i hope we can find a fix soon! this is just a nightmare with my GTS 450.

I get the screen pictured only when I use the built-in apple wallpapers. JPG wallpapers don't break up after sleep or screen sleep. I am having trouble with some flash animations like the Olympic flame on the Firefox home page which is pixelized. Video is fine as is most everything else. GT 430

The firefox olympic flame also looks like that on the macbook pro I use at the office ^^' (ML)

I don't can get Full resolution on Mountain Lion with GTS 450, Only the default resolution 1024x768 but the other resolution options appears but when i change it the screen goes Blue and I have to restart the computer for get the desktop back. In the About Mac Info I get the correct identification of the video card, The only problem is my resolution.

I have had great experience using my HD 6850 both in Lion and now ML, and the very small issues i have had were quickly solved with reading a few of the forum posts. I feel the AMD cards should be added to the buyers guide.
